Who are we?
The Zen Retreats is a 5 acre property located at Shasta lake in Northern California. The property offers the most mesmerizing views of the Shasta lake, the surrounding hills, beautiful sunrises on the lake, total privacy and tranquility in a naturesque setting. A marina is located right below the property offering abiity to launch boats, rental or private, with 365 miles of shoreline that this lake offers. Yet, we are located only 2 miles from the Interstate I-5 that runs north-south throughout the West Coast states of California, Oregon and Washington, thereby making the location easily accessible and well connected. The property comprises of two large houses with modern amenities and a piece of open land between them for group activities, with the most zen views from almost everywhere, hence the name, "The Zen Retreats".
What do we offer?
The property can easily accommodate groups of 20-25 people (max 18 adults) who would like to co-locate for various purposes and conduct sightseeing and group activities together. This part of Northen Californina is blessed with unmatched natural beauty with some amazing locations within an hour drive from the house. Also, the city of Redding is only 20 minutes drive from the house with all modern amenities you'd expect from a large city, including a local airport. Hence, we feel, our property would be most ideal for some of the below types of retreats:

The Zen Paradise
The Zen Paradise is our premium property offering 2800 sq ft of living space with the most breathtaking views of Shasta Lake.
2 large wrap around decks, 2 large living rooms, formal dining room, large kitchen with gas stove, 3 bedrooms & 2.5 bathrooms
Master suite with fireplace, soaking tub and walk-in closet
The house is fully furnished with premium furniture, beds, linens, kitchenware, appliances, piano, pool table, hammock, BBQ grill, outdoor shower, etc.
65 inches TV w/ premium Sound-bar
Dimmable lights in every room
Comfortably sleeps 9 (3 queen beds, 1 bunk bed w/ twin over full bed)
The Zen Space
The Zen Space is the group activity space centrally located between the two large houses, designed specifically for hosting retreat kind of rentals.
It has a nice on-the-ground deck, a beautiful gazebo, an outdoorsy sitting area with fireplace, a BBQ grill, a tent/ Yurt & hammock for entertainment, and an outdoor bathroom with toilet, shower, sink and hot water.
The Zen Space has been designed to offer a clear, unobstructed view of the lake & Wifi availability.
And, there’s also a short private hiking trail with lake views and deer sightings!
The Zen House
A large house offering 2400 sq ft of living space and an additional 1000 sq ft of entertainment space, with amazing Shasta Lake views.
1 large deck, 1 small deck, 2 patios, garden area, a large water fountain, 3 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, furnished kitchen w/ electric stove, a large entertainment room w/ pool table, ping pong table & a projector w/ giant screen
2 Master suites w/ amazing lake views, one with fireplace, and another one with a soaking tub
The house is fully furnished with TV, furniture, beds, linens, kitchenware, appliances, hammock, BBQ grill, etc.
