    1. Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using the Zen Retreats at Shasta Lake website and booking our short-term rental properties, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

    2. Booking & Reservations

    All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation from Zen Retreats. We reserve the right to decline any reservation at our sole discretion. Full payment or a deposit may be required at the time of booking, as specified during the reservation process.

    3. Check-In & Check-Out

    Check-in and check-out times are specified in your booking confirmation. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request but is not guaranteed. Unauthorized late check-outs may result in additional charges, including up to a full additional night's rate.

    4. Guest Responsibilities

    Guests are expected to treat the property with care and respect. You are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its contents during your stay beyond normal wear and tear. All guests must comply with house rules provided at the time of booking. Unauthorized parties, events, or gatherings are strictly prohibited. Only registered guests are permitted on the property; unregistered visitors may incur additional fees.

    5. Cancellation Policy

    Cancellation terms vary by property and rate type. Please refer to your booking confirmation for the specific cancellation policy applicable to your reservation. In general, cancellations made within a specified period before the check-in date may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the deposit.

    6. Noise & Conduct

    Guests must observe quiet hours and local noise ordinances. Noise monitoring devices may be in use on the exterior of the property. Violations of noise policies may result in fines, immediate termination of your stay, or forfeiture of your security deposit.

    7. Limitation of Liability

    Zen Retreats at Shasta Lake shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services or stay at our properties. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for your reservation. We are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or theft of personal belongings during your stay.

    8. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zen Retreats at Shasta Lake, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the property or violation of these terms.

    9. Modifications

    We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this website. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

    10. Governing Law

    These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Shasta County, California.
